Shake the serum well before use.  Over the course of months, the Serum ingredients may need shaking to remix.  So, shake the serum vigorously before the first use.  And shake lightly before each subsequent use.

You may wish to apply a moisturizer after the serum.  Wait a few seconds, and then apply a Man Labs Cream. This will give your skin a different feeling to the touch, which you may prefer.  It will also help to lock in the protection and benefits of the serum.

Apply the serum to your face with an upward and outward motion.  This technique that supports skin health and enhances the benefits of the serum.  For example, on the forehead, cheeks, and neck.  Applying face serum with an upward and outward motion (from nose to ear) helps to promote circulation.  It also encourages lifting, which can be beneficial for the skin’s appearance.  An upward and outward motion helps to prevent tugging or pulling on the skin, especially in delicate areas.  Finally, an upward and outward motion can result in better absorption of the serum, allowing it to penetrate the skin more effectively.

Dispense the serum first to your hand, either to your palm or to the web between the thumb and index finger.  This allows you to gauge the amount of serum you are using (1-2 pumps), allowing for a more controlled application.  Additionally, it helps to warm the serum slightly with your body heat, which can enhance absorption.  Plus, it’s a good way to test for any potential reactions before applying it to your face!  You can spread any excess product to the back of your hands — rejuvenating and restoring them — you can wash it off.  If you do not want to remove lines in the palm of your hand, dispensing the serum to the back web of your hand is recommended.

Use the serum twice a day, once in the morning and once a night for best results.  If this too much for your skin, you may consider using it in the morning only.

Some areas of your face may need less serum.  If the product seems too strong, e.g. for your nose, the middle of your forehead or for the skin beside your nose, you may consider using a very light application there.  Or you can skip some of these areas entirely when you apply the product your face.

Prime the pump before use.  When you first receive the product, you will need to press the pump several times to “prime the pump” and dispense product.  You may find on some days that you need to prime the pump once or twice.  This is normal.  If, for example, the pump dispenses only half the normal amount with a single press, you can press the pump half-way a second time, to dispense a full normal amount.  Dispensing the serum to your hand allows you to control the amount.
